Hi Rumejan,
I know the version is old, but there is no possibility to update it unfortunately.
Thank you for your answer,
Best Regards,Hello Carl,
Yes, I would actually like to know how this piece of code ended up in your plugin part and why it got removed?
Did this happen to other Yoast users as well?
This killed our rankings and all the efforts we had been doing over the past 2 years to rank better on different keywords in search..
If needed, I still have the screenshot of both my search console saying that I have a “noindex” on my blog (out of nowhere) and the line of code inside the Yoastplugin code part.Hello Pcosta88,
Sorry, I thought it was relevant since my issue was that my website was not appearing in the google search results, and the title of this topic is “My Website Doesn’t show up in the google search results.”. My bad.
In any case, I don’t know how or why or by which magical action, this part of the code that was right below the beginning of the Yoast plugin suddenly disappear over night…!
I still have a screenshot of it from yesterday, but as I look into the code today, it’s just. Gone.So I guess problem solved, my website now appears in the SERPs…
Hello,
The same problem is happening since a couple of days on our blog. I have realized that the traffic to our blog collapsed, especially the organic traffic.
I checked in the Search console and saw that there is a noindex tag preventing to appear in the SERPs. When I inspect the code, I find it just under the Yoast plugin, and I do not understand why/how it came there?!This is what i see in the code:
<!– This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v10.1.3 – https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ –>
<meta name=”description” content=”X”/>
<meta name=”robots” content=”noindex,nofollow”/>When i check everything in the plugin, all the checkboxes to “not index” the page are unticked! I am puzzled.
When I run the GoogleAnalyticsDebugger and the TagAssistant, it says that one issue comes from a javascript code in our theme.
Do you have any idea what the problem could be?Thank you very much for your help,
