Correction (I apologize)–
I was able to restore the tooltips text and links by selecting the following on No. 3:
“Show them via a widget”
and
“Place via shortcode”

Update–
I was able to restore the tooltips text and links by (I think) selecting the following on No. 3:
“Show them via a widget”
and
“Define the location on the page”

Thank you, that CSS removed the link from the icons.
However, before I applied the CSS, I noticed (after re-installing your plugin) that the “share” tooltips are now blank and contain no links (and I cannot restore them). Plus, the LinkedIn tooltip is misaligned (shifted to the left of its icon).
