Am I supposed to rename the folder through the web hosting provider’s (DreamHost) server? I’m not sure how I would make changes to folders or files for my WordPress site without being able to access the dashboard as an administrator.

After reviewing my predecessor’s notes it would appear that DreamHost is the host service provider. I just sent them a message to find out the status of the account and registered domain. I will follow-up if I need additional help. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Thank you for your prompt response John. I wasn’t even aware that our site had a different hosting provider than WordPress. I’m going to have to do some digging around to find out who the provider is and what the terms of our registration consist of, as I wasn’t the one who set up the site originally. How were you able to find out that our site was registered with DreamHost?
