In reply to: [Customizr] Add another slider to the homepage (front-page.php)Would anyone have an idea how to put a second slider on the home page (front-page.php)?
I could hard code it in but I thought using one of the snippets above would be best. Another way could be to add pics to WordPress and then add a new slider name (Customizr style) and with some code have it appear on the home page near the bottom under the first one.
You can see the site I’m working on here.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

In reply to: [Customizr] How to modify my main navigation menu with CSSI have a suggestion.. I don’t know exactly what kind of customizations you want to do but start with a child theme.. and Customizr has one here.
If you go to that page you’ll find a link to the snippets section and you can search for some code to, for example, center the nav menu, change the color, etc.
From there, and with that code, you would put that into the child theme’s css file.
Something like that.
Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] How do you make a select drop down boxIt seems like the Selectable Recipient with Pipes will do the trick!!!
Thanks so much, Takayuki!!!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] How do you make a select drop down boxThanks so much for responding.. I will look at that! I guess what I meant was to be able to make a choice from several names from a select menu.
For example, I enter my name, email and would click a ‘recipient’ select box and see some names of the people that work in my office. I would choose, for example, Takayuki Miyoshi from the list and then write my message. When I clicked send it would go to you.
I hope that makes sense..
Thank you!

In reply to: Next to top post loses styling and breaks layoutI think you put me on the right track! I started over with just the index.php file and am in the process of going over it piece by piece…
I’m already getting two distinct posts that are holding on to their styling! Thanks!

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] On submit the form just loads forever.I had the same issues and I got lucky and traced it back to putting some jQuery code for a jQuery plugin in the functions.php file…
After using the suggestions above, like disabling all the plugins, making a new contact page I got lucky when I activated the default theme.. and everything was fine.. hmmm. Then I knew it was my site. My site was breaking up horribly in IE9 and Contact Form 7 just kept spinning and spinning. I was pulling my hair out! But, I realized that recently I did a site and put the jQuery work into a WordPress plugin and everything worked well.. and with that site I even have another jQuery WordPress plugin working and everything’s working great!
So, at least with me, maybe look in your functions.php file.. maybe something’s there.. hope this helps!
Thanks so much! Takayuki
Thank you Takayuki.. love the plugin.
!important It doesn’t work for older browsers? I’m worried that I will use !important and older browsers will ignore those rules. Sometimes that’s the only way to be more specific.

In reply to: Please help pick my new logo!!Hi, my name’s Michael Sneed…
I like # 3 for getting the idea quickly but like the “badge”-like feel of #2.
Maybe combine the square badge of #2 with the compact idea of #3.
