Bummer, yes this is exactly what I was hoping to be able to do as the header/sub-header text is confusing once the user has submitted the opt-in form. Thanks for the follow-up and yes PLEASE DO pass along as a feature request.

replaced define(‘MCSF_CAP_THRESHOLD’, ‘edit_plugins’); with define(‘MCSF_CAP_THRESHOLD’, ‘manage_options’);
& added hidden group [necessary to Update List in mc plugin settings]
both issue resolved …

and when using sign-up form [not widget, code inserted into sidebar] although sign-up request goes through form submit returns error: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/account/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp/mailchimp.php on line 1189
as these issues seem to have been have been reported numerous times i have again reverted back to plug-in v1.2.4 until resolved :]

thanks so much for your response. yes i have disabled WP-dTree’s default stylesheet and am working with the theme stylesheet. however my css knowledge is not to the point where i’ve been able to troubleshoot the category title line wrap issue 🙁
any additional help would be appreciated … or a link to a WordPress/WP-dTree site where the category title line wrap is implemented so i could take a look at the effective css would also be great :]

hmmmmm, have set Force to open to ‘all’ [w/o quotes] with no change in category tree default [across browsers and platforms] … ?

thanks 🙂 i have moved from wp from sub-domain to root directory [which i believe is what you’re describing]. i’m hoping for information as to whether there are considerations particular to redirecting/moving to a different domain.
