I apologize, I didn’t mean to sound harsh. I just knew the solution was close.
Um, I just misunderstood the usage of the query_posts while reading the description here. I was under the impression that I needed to add the tag within the loop and thats where I was getting error messages. I simply need to add the tag just before the loop.

Update: Never mind I figured it out. Very simple. Im surprised there were no replies offering help.
