In reply to: How does plogger work?Oh, just an update on this one – yes, I’ve discovered I like Plogger very much. I’ve installed it on both of my sites – one of which is hosted on a Linux/Unix server, and the other site is hosted on a Windows server. As with WordPress, Plogger doesn’t seem to like the Windows server very much, but worked like a charm on the site hosted on the Linux server. Very easy to use, one of these days I’ll get around to actually customizing it so that it fits in with my site layout and so on.

In reply to: Plug-In Help!As for the Add to my yahoo/google etc, there is a plugin called Subscribe Me.
Not sure if it is WP 2.0 compatible though? But it’s nice.

In reply to: How do I modify the default theme to get 3 columns?Thank you! 🙂
It is, though it’s not my own theme. I used the Bricks 1.0 theme in the WRC Theme Viewer and basically flipped it around, then got rid of the bricks image on the blue column and moved that column up so that both columns were basically level with each other. I took out the calendar, redid the header and some other small details, and I think that’s it.I would put my version up for download, but a couple of the changes I’ve made aren’t “proper” for doing so. I’ve got some things manually coded into the sidebar and so on that are specific to my site.
When I learn more about coding, then maybe I’ll fix it and offer it up for download. For now I can just recommend using the Bricks Theme and modifying it to your liking, if you know how. You can email me through the contact page on my site if you need help. 🙂

In reply to: My site has a new layout.Sorry? Not sure what you mean by that.
Use an FTP to upload the files, just like you had to do to get all your other WordPress files onto your website, then go to the “Presentation” tab in your Admin panel and select the name of the theme you want to use.

Found that thread asking the same question.
If you don’t know how to do CSS, you’re better off finding a pre-made 3 column layout in the Theme Viewer. I believe there are a couple there that look like the theme you want to use.

In reply to: My site has a new layout.LOL, you can have all the snow you want, I’m just tired of being COLD! 😛
Now that I’ve changed the site, I do see what you mean about it looking “squashed” before. I didn’t change the dimensions of anything, but now the content section has that white space to the side, it looks like it has more “breathing room.”

In reply to: My site has a new layout.I’ve basically flipped the site around. Is it better now?

In reply to: My site has a new layout.I like this one because it’s a 3 column layout, but I don’t see a lot of people using that particular kind…usually the largest column is between the two smaller ones. Which, because everyone does it that way, is fine for them, but boring for me, LOL, I want mine to be a bit different.

In reply to: Font size buttons? Thanks Podz. 🙂
The font resizing thing, I just changed the font family and the way it was being sized on the css, it looks much better now, so I’m not as worried about driving people away. 😀

In reply to: I can’t activate pluginsGood luck getting an answer to that one. If you do a search and browse through some of the archives, you’ll find that there doesn’t seem to be one particular fix for this problem. Different people have had the same problem, and for whatever reason, each of them had a different resolution to it.
Trying browsing the archives, do searches for “can’t activate plugins” or “plugin page doesn’t work” and start trying out some of the solutions that come up.
Good luck. 🙂
