I am needing to do the same thing in the free version of NextGen Gallery, but I don’t see/understand how to apply the setting you describe. Can you please share more detail?
Quick question, I’m on v. 2.4.4.2 (quite old), could that be my issue and possibly incompatible with current implementation of captcha? If that was the case, would I just need to renew annual updates & support for the $75?
Unfortunately, my pro license support has expired, so was hoping to get some help from the community.

I had to perform a complete restore to get things back up and running. Hesitant to try again, but wondering if I have some other plugin conflict.
