View gallery description

    Hello,

    i was able to view the gallery description only on extended album.
    Is there a possibility to display the description on the single thumbnail gallery?

    Hello,

    I don’t know if it’s the right way, but I fixed it by adding enable_descriptions=”1″ to the base album shortocode.

    I am needing to do the same thing in the free version of NextGen Gallery, but I don’t see/understand how to apply the setting you describe. Can you please share more detail?

    Hi @mrtantrum,

    Inserted the album in the page, open the code editor of the page and add at the end of the shortcode enable_descriptions=”1″.

    The complete shortocode will be for example [ngg src=”albums” ids=”2″ display=”basic_compact_album” enable_descriptions=”1″].
