Thanks. I might have figured out. Seems I need to use Facebook Business Suite. Push notification works on that app.
It is the same. Any message to pages directly or via chat plugin, didn’t generate push notifications on my phone.
Thanksno push notification. but I can see messages on my phone, if opening the app to check manually.

I’ve tested on two iphones. so basically i can get push notification if someone sending message to me (not the page).I can see customer messages are in Index -> Main (not in Done).
under Inbox All Messages (left panel), I can see Messenger and Instagram Direct. not sure if that’s normal to have Instagram Direct here. All customer msgs are in Messenger , it’s empty in Instagram Direct.Thanks

Exactly. I can see all messages there
@facebook yes, it appeared. But no push notifications, so I had to open messenger and check new messages manually.

I’ve allowed notification for my Messenger APP on my iphone. how do I check if I have any app installed on my page to handle messaging?
thanksguess my question was how I can know someone is chatting to me while I am not constantly watching my facebook page. Would it possible to get popup message/reminder on my phone when there is a message.
having the same issue. the user I used to login /wp-admin is administrator role.
when you say “Are you the administrator of a Facebook Page?”, what do you exactly mean? user to login facebook?
