I had a thought: is it a Safari issue, sending me to site #2 when I type in the address for #1. So I tried with Firefox: same result.

So it must be a WP issue. . . or could it be a GoDaddy issue?

I type the url for site #1 into the address bar at the top of the screen and I am sent to site #2, which was the FIRST site I registered with GoDaddy, and also has the same WP admin name as site #1.

Was that where I went wrong – same admin name? Or do I need to call GoDaddy?

And ideas of my next step would be greatly appreciated.
