Thanks for your reply. I had looked through the FAQ’s as a first resource to solve this problem but having tried the various approaches described there with no success I decided to write.

From your reply you seem to be saying that the embedder only works with documents that are not in native google doc format – is that correct? In other words with Word documents or pdf’s that are simply uploaded to google docs as a storage solution and not converted to google docs on upload. Have I got that right?

If not and it is currently possible to embed native google doc formats then I have tried both the shared link and the published link with no success.
