In reply to: Dissapearing From Google IndexThanks for the reply pizdin_dim.
” You’re not blocking their bot with some plugin or the htaccess file are you? “
Unfortunately, I don’t think so. At least one of the sites expeiriencing this problem has no plugins activated. I’ve never modified the htaccess files, so they probably didn’t cause the sudden drop from the Google index. Is there something WordPress or my host (Dreamhost) could have done to the htaccess files that could cause these problems but that I would not have otherwise noticed?
Again whats really puzzeling here is that Google webmaster tools says the site is indexed, but then searching directly for bowdoingourmet.com or site:bowdoingourmet.com gives 0 results.
Interestingly, searching for cache:www.bowdoingourmet.com prodcues a cached copy of the site, showing that Google has crawled and processed the site.
I also found that the sites are dropped from the other major search engines.
What else do we think could be cuasing this problem?

Thanks for trying to help me out here. Is there any risk in trying to just write over the wp-include/js of the malfunctioning site with a copy of that directory from one of my other WP installs? If that doesen’t work I might try to reinstall WP; is there anything in particular that I should know before doing that?

In reply to: Wierd Rich Text Editor MalfunctionUnfortunately, that workaround did not work for me.
I’m really stumped by this; is there anything else that I possibly could have done to cause this? Does anyone think that a reinstall might fix the problem?

In reply to: Wierd Rich Text Editor MalfunctionYes, the “use the visual rich editor when writing” box is checked. By the way, the editor appears the same when the box is not checked as when it is.
