In reply to: [WP Links Page] Not working nor activateable after updateOK OK OK
For anyone else having this issue… Here’s what happened:
The New update changed…. Well, A LOT!!! As Rico said the usual spot for the WP links Dashboard link is now near the top…I was apparently blind… Found it…. Went to my Links page…No Links….
First: Go to settings… There should be a message saying that “WP links noticed you used a previous version and those links need to be imported….” or something like that… IT may take a while and you may get errors but it will do most of your links… I may try running the import again to see if the failed ones show up… but the bulk of mine were successful… (Possibly time out errors on shared hosting?)
Second: The Short-code has changed drastically…. Like … Well as said before: A LOT!! Go to “Settings” and you can use the wizard to generate the short-code of how you want your links to display.
I must have missed the Link that described the major changes? I still cant believe I did not see the new location on the dashboard though….sigh… must be getting blind in my old age….

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Link to a month?Thank you sir!
Sunny,
Thank you for responding! It’s nice to see that, sometimes these types of plugins are black holes… 😉
Just before I reverted back to get everything back up and running I noticed something was very broken as well… “Supercache”
Now – on my other sites that I changed user and folders on, this did not break… But I think your “Banking instincts” are correct… If the cache was broken, that was probably what was breaking the Calendar… I’m considering just moving the rest of my sites and leaving this one as is since I got it back to the way it was….
I really Like this product… It does sometimes seem to be persnickety and fragile at times… But it does everything I need and more… and looks good while doing it…
I think if I can figure out why the cache broke I reckon time.ly will not break…
Cheers!

I had to revert to old user, Old directory, and restore my database…. I’m back up and running but is there anything I could be missing if I change the user again? This is the only site witht his plug in and the other sites I did were fine no issues… yet….
Well, Looks like my effort to uninstall and re-install has deleted all my data with exception to my Categories….NOT COOL…
I cannot add events, and I cannot access settings…. Same error at the bottom……
Downgraded form PHP 7 to 5.6 as well still no JOY….
