Having a look now – and trying to replicate the problem on my own sites – and I don’t have any immediate answers. Do you see any error messages in the Console?
I didn’t know about the glitch when it scrolled. I’ll see if I can find a way to fix both problems.
Martin
New version should fix the problem! Let me know if it doesn’t.
Martin
That’s a different plug-in.
You need to raise your issue here.
Do you want to centre the whole thing on the page? Or the main text within the tweet? The CSS above does the latter.
How does:
p.rtw_main { text-align:center; }work for you?
Thanks for highlighting that.
It shouldn’t be a show-stopping issue, but I think/hope the development version should fix the problem.
Martin
Thanks for sorting this!

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] User defined speed in widgetWill definitely look into it.
I will need to find a way to do this that doesn’t break all the widgets and shortcodes already out there!

In reply to: [Rotating Tweets (Twitter widget and shortcode)] HTTPS Mixed Content – ErrorsHi there,
I can’t replicate this. The plug-in uses plugin_dir_url which should work (and does for me), but I can see some people have forced SSL in the past when this doesn’t work.
What happens if you use a plug-in like Really Simple SSL. I’ve used this in the past when I’ve had problems and all the problems have gone away!
Thank you for finding that solution! I’ll try to work out why it’s behaving like that.
Hi Chris,
Not sure why this is happening – but the following error is showing up in your HTML…
<!-- Twitter error: 89 - Invalid or expired token. -->More here.
Are you doing this with a shortcode or a widget?
Martin
Good idea. Will do.
