I did deactivate my plugins and the problem went away. Fortunately I only had 2 plugins — Tiny MCE Advanced and Wordfence Security — so it won’t be hard to figure out which of the two is the culprit. Thanks!
thanks! will follow all the advice. I had just updated my Mac OS to “High Sierra” which then said I had to install an older version of Java. I had also just upgraded some themes. I do have backup of earlier version.
