Thank you so much for looking into it ! I have not worked on the site for two days now, and I just tried both the mobile problem and the share/like problem and they still occur for me. I am using Firefox for my desktop browser, and internet explorer (Windows phone) as my mobile browser if that helps. Also had a couple of the guys tell me they have noticed the same thing about not being able to share the image. Thank you again !

I did some more reading on my problems on both nextgen and nextgen Facebook and it seems that you need an actual URL address to share a single photo on facebook. In both sites they say to use image browser to accomplish this and that light boxes do not receive a URL. However on you demo site I see that indeed you were able to get it to work in that fashion. Now could this be a problem with nextgen or is something wrong/conflicting in my install? When I share or like a image from gallery share it shows a empty white box with site name, and when it posts it adds the site default image instead of the one I’m sharing. However if I click on the shared link it goes to the gallery and opens the picture.

Hey I also finally got around to testing the facebook sharing part out, and I not sure if it is working as intended on my site. It seems the sharing part of the plugin is only directing facebook to the gallery it self, and not the individual images. If this is how its supposed to work please let me know. However is it possible to have the individual images shared onto facebook instead of the link to the gallery? Thank you again!

Hey I had this problem to… it had something to do with the guest account for me. I turned off the guest account and deleted it from the roles in WP, and it started working again. Can also try a fresh install with guest account disabled.

Hey the forums are working correctly now after I did the clean install. I used you fix above and its still working as long as I do not enable the “Guest” account. I was wondering if you could possible help me with another matter which I just discovered when I remade the forums.

    Forums

This picture is of my website when I open a topic. For some reason the bottom of the page gets thrown all out of position. As you can see the reply buttons are misplaced, and my quickbar buttons are misplaced also. The footer is also not in its right spot. Not sure if its fixable on your end or if its my theme, but it only happens on the topic template.

Also I have a suggestion for a future build… If its possible could we be able to set view permissions on categories? Also is there anyway to make the actualy forums/categories invisible to those without the proper permissions? Currently you can see all the forums just not enter them.

I did some more poking around and found out that there is still a problem with the “guest” account. I am able to adjust all the roles accordingly except when I enable the guest account. When enabled it makes the “Guest” role and automatically gives guests the “view, read, post, edit” capabilities. I am able to uncheck them and save but they just come right back. To get rid of the guest account i need to turn off in wpbb settings, and then delete the role from wp. So in short I cannot create categories, but can change role permissions correctly with the exception of the “Guest” account. What I would like to have happen is just have the “guest” account be able to view and read the forums if possible. If possible could I have the code to fix the categories again, and i’ll test if the permissions bug comes back from it.

I have some new info on this situation. I decided to delete the WPBB plugin and reinstall it totally. The permissions now work correctly in the respect that I can edit the role in WP and update it with the tool. I can also change the permissions around on each forum correctly now. However I am not able to create categories due to the utf8 bug. I’m wondering if running that DB code line to fix the category issue actually messed up the whole role/permissions aspect of it.

Getting this error now also with update, and also on the Role permissions page I get this

This is a picture to the forum permission screen. It seems I can update the stock roles, but not the ones I created.

I was thinking about this issue, and I know I had the category problem where my DB is in utf8. Could it be possible that its the same issue? If so do you have a updated link to that fix on pastebin since it is no longer valid?
