I got your email. Thank you so much for your quick reply.
I was able to fix the English testimonials. My issue right now is how I will be able to display the French testimonials.I am using Contact From 7 as the testimonial form because it allows me to create a French version of the form.
What I’m trying to do now is try to add new categories, and copy the French testimonials to the English list.

Thank you for your response! 🙂 In my investigations, I found that out as well. I’m using Windows 7, and I changed my browser setting to French, but I still see English text on the upload buttons. Could it be because my OS is English?
But I guess I don’t really have to worry since I believe you are right, and I found the same info everywhere I looked 🙂Thanks again Diane!

Unfortunately I don’t have proper access, I guess since this is a volunteer work, it is limited.
My mandate is to help them update the look and feel of their website. It so happen that when I started with this project, I found out that their WP is version still 3.9.6.

I have no access to the file server. I can only access WordPress dashboard.
I created a back up using Tools/Backup.I am a Web Designer and not a developer and this is very new to me.
My concern is I’ve read several members who had issues with this update and I want to make sure that I know what to do in case.Should I ask support from from their web host?

Regarding my first question, it was my mistake! I am new to WordPress and just getting my head around using plugins.And for point two, I totally agree with you and that’s what I did actually, just added a notice statement.
This project is for a volunteer work for a non profit organization and their WP is not up to date (3.9.6). Their theme was custom made.

In reply to: [One-Click Child Theme] It obliterated my current formattingI just installed and activated One-Click child theme because i wanted to modify the testimonial plugin (GC Testimonial).
I am new to WordPress and didn’t want to mess up anything so I’ve decided not to modify the testimonial plug in after all.
Now when I click Appearance and Themes, it shows that the child theme is the one active.
How do I modify the settings to point it to the Parent theme instead?
