Thanks for the message again. I looked at the code, and changed EVERY text color setting on my theme away from white. The text on the map still remained white even with all settings without a white text. No idea what changed that setting, but the maps setting (CSS) still not changing. For now I just changed the background to a gray color so the text is visible.
