No no error message…
BUT, It’s surprising how quickly these things can resolve themselves as soon as you ask for help… 🙂 (so it is now resolved).
I think the problem was with the file path for the images. I went to Settings>Media and changed “Store Uploads In This Folder” to the default suggestion. I don’t know when I changed it to anything else but now it is back everything is fine.
