In reply to: I cannot access my wp adminughhh well I tried to delete that plugin and now at the top of my wp-admin page there is this….
Installation failed: W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home2/navigbc5/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. W3 is no longer listed as a plug in under my plug ins but I cannot install any other plug ins either?
Maybe this is because I tried to uninstall it before I changed the name back in my cpanel when I found it was the issue….darn my limited knowledge!!!
it is still a folder under my plugins in my cpanel just named w3-total-cache.deac (the name a gave it) but it is not editable or renamable?

In reply to: I cannot access my wp adminI did try renaming all my plugins and it appears to be my w3-total-cache that is the problem.
Is that something I can uninstall and reinstall?

In reply to: I cannot access my wp adminthere is a lot in the error log none of which means anything to me? (sorry this is something I am very new at) Anything in particular I need to be looking for?
I have the same problem too! But I only get this error when I go to my site/wp-admin I can access my normal page.
This happened when I did the upgrade also.
I’m wondering what the fix is?
ok, so I changed the fold back to just ‘plugins’ and then renamed each plugin one at a time and my website is still fine? And it was okay after each renaming too?
I was able to log into the wp-admin as well and this message was at the top…

Im not sure if that is there because of what I renames or if that is the whole problem?
Yay! I found it!! Also thank you so much for being patient with me!!
Ok so I renamed the plugins first and then when I tried to go to my site it worked so I didn’t rename the theme or anything I just stopped there.
Thanks for trying to help!
Bluehost no longer offers the option to open tickets for tech support.
I went into the file manager but I didnt see the wp-content/plugins or themes.
Sorry I’m so dense at this, I know nothing about codes or the internal workings π
there is a Main Error log but it says that it is “a shared log meaning that errors from all websites hosted on the server will be displayed as well as those for your website,” when I search for my IP displayed at the top nothing comes up….
Sorry this is a little over my head π
