Your current code is using gallery from WP Bakery Pagebuilder (formerly Visual Composer), our plugin is such as an extension for default WordPress gallery, so you just create gallery via Add Media button from text editor and select type for gallery from the popup. Generated shortcode by wordpress will look like this in text mode

In reply to: [WP Flexslider] Linking a slideSorry for being late, if you still need this feature, i would recommend you to use WP Gallery Custom Links, install and activate it then you will be able to add custom link to image using wordpress Media Uploader. I tested and it’s compatible to WP Flexslider.
