In reply to: Unrelated tweetbacks spamming commentsATTENTION: Tweetbacks is not only causing comment spam, but somehow who ever missues this plugin, can also introduce spamm in the feed.
What I did is, I upgraded WordPress to 2.7 und I also upgraded the tweetbacks plugin to the newest version. Then I deleted the comment spam manually. Afterwords I also used the clean function. Then I uninstalled the plugin again.
Afterwords I exported my feed, to check if anything is still in there. Ok, it is clean now.
BUT: Google Reader is caching things forever, so the SPAM will remain in my feed there and I can not do anything about it, because there is now way to talk with google about this.
So I strongly advise anybody to very careful with this plugin.

In reply to: Unrelated tweetbacks spamming commentsTweetback is also causing another Problem, I did not only get thousands of spam tweets, somehow these spams also managed to get into my feed.
So my Problem: I have some dutch Spam in my feed. After 15 posts, there are about 10 posts I did not put into my feed. They are quite embarassing. Which is very bad for a business blog.
So my question to joostdevalk is: “How do I get rird of it?”
The strange thing is, you cannot see the Spam Posts if you visit my blog. You can only see it if you subsribe to the feed via google feedreader.
I advice anybody using tweetbacks, to check with google feedreader if the feed is okay.
So Mr. joostdevalk please help, you plugin caused this problem, now I need a solution.
