Yes. Thats right. Bit you also have to tell the plug in where to look for it.
In WP go to OPTIONS in gallery. The click slideshow along the top.
Then you have to tell it location in “Path to the Imagerotator (URL)”
I just clicked SEARCH and it found it fine. Then started working from there. You can edit settings here too.

Got it working fine. Unfortunately image rotator needs a commercial licence for comm site so had to switch it off for client, but it did work ok.
