Hello @macdabby,
Thanks so much for the follow-up.
Understood. Yes, your OP was not about a category issue. Sorry, there was a second thread started after yours.
At any rate, we’re glad that it’s working now for you.
Have a great day 🙂

Hello @eriz,
Thanks so much for posting.
Correct! The Content Control plugin supports restrictions for WooCommerce product categories.
Please see the screen capture for what that setting looks like.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Customizing Soundcloud Embed Block w CSSHello @davidsortof,
I see your embedded players (iFrames) are already rectangles (604×400). But, you can try this CSS as an example to make them smaller and more flatter rectangles.
.wp-block-embed-soundcloud iframe { height: 200px; /* Originally 400 */ width: 400px; /* Originally 604 */ }Got to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to add the CSS to your WordPress site.
Shout if you have any questions 😉
Cheers!

Hey @eddierosenthal,
Thanks for writing. But, we think you might have wanted to post to the UpdraftPlus forum?
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/updraftplus/
If we’re mistaken, please let us know what issue you’re seeing with the Content Control plugin. Include the following:
1) The specific detailed steps to reproduce the issue
2) Any error messages (PHP logs, on the page errors, or dev tools console logs)
3) Screen captures of what you’re trying to do
4) The desired outcome or expectation of what you want the plugin to do
Cheers!

Hi @lottieveronica,
Thanks for posting.
We’re sorry you’re seeing that login redirect hanging. We’d like to see what’s going on with that.
Would you mind contacting us here?

That way we can securely discuss setting up access for testing.
Cheers 🙂

Hi @melanie71,
Thanks for posting.
1) That’s because a default accessibility feature in popular browsers is clashing with our accessibility defaults. Can you use this workaround for now. We’ll add that CSS as a permanent fix in the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
2) For the title, it looks like you might NOT have set the popup’s title. If you type in a popup title (see #2), then you can control the title’s color by editing the popup’s theme.
For the title and content color, please check that the popup’s theme is using the colors you want.
– Go to your popup’s Popup Settings > Display > Appearance tab.
– Click the Customize This Theme link.
– In the theme editor, check the Title and Content settings.More on the popup theme editor here https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/38-popup-theme-editor-introduction
3) For the overlay, please check your popup’s Popup Settings > Display > Advanced tab to make sure the Disable Overlay is NOT checked.
Then, verify in your theme settings that the overlay is using the color you’d like.
In the screen capture below, I edited my default popup theme to have a blue title, red content, and a semi-transparent black overlay.

Hello @almaimoune,
I have a cache problem (I think) with the content control plugin on my website.
Have you tested with your caching disabled on your WordPress site, hosting provider, and CDN provider? If so, is the issue you saw still happening?
When a user visits a restricted page (or article) before logging in, even if they have the role of the user who should be able to access the page (customer role in my case), there is always the restriction.
That’s correct. If there’s a logged-in restriction, your visitor must log in for the restriction to go away (depending on what roles you’ve selected of course).
If you have a logged-in restriction and you’re not logged in, you’ll see the restriction. That’s the basic design of the plugin.
The restriction will either be a redirect or a denial message depending on what you set up.
But if the user logs in directly when arriving on the website before going to the restricted page there is no problem if he is the customer role.
That’s also expected as you’ve mentioned.
Can you let us know:
1) What you expect the plugin to do (i.e., the use case) for your site
2) The exact issue you are seeing (details and screengrabs are helpful)
3) The steps to reproduce your issue
Thanks so much 🙂

Hi @ryfre,
Thanks for your question.
As you know, built-in custom fields and ACF fields aren’t available via REST API by default. Furthermore, the ACF to REST API plugin alters the JSON response to expose ACF fields to the REST API.
So, restricting ACF fields and getting involved with how a 3rd-party plugin alters the JSON is out of Content Control’s scope. Sorry for the not-so-great news.
You might want to ping the author of ACF to REST API to see what they can do on their side if you haven’t yet.
We’re going to mark this thread as resolved. But, please feel free to start a new thread any time you have questions about the Content Control plugin.
Have a great day 🙂

Hey @macdabby,
Can you make sure you log out of your wp-admin before opening an incognito. Opening an incognito doesn’t log you out of your session.
Using a different browser for your private/incognito window should help too.
I usually log in with Firefox to make changes while doing all my testing in Chrome incognito (not logged in).
Please let us know how that goes.
Cheers 🙂
