In reply to: [Subscribe2 - Form, Email Subscribers & Newsletters] Readygraph banner? In the Dashboard, Plugins, then “Installed.” When it displays the list of installed plugins, across the top of the screen is this (relatively) HUGE banner telling me that Subscribe2 now comes with the Readygraph app. I read the description of the app and it doesn’t sound like anything I need or want.
But that banner doesn’t go away unless (I think) I connect my site to Readygraph.

In reply to: Pasting from MS Word suddenly WORKS?But…there’s a BUTTON!
Seriously. Okay, I get that there’s no new feature. Clearly the paste from Word button is doing some checking of the code and yes, apparently, freakishly, it just made good HTML code instead of stripping all the tags. Got it. Nothing to see here, move along.
But to say “never paste from Word,” then what’s the point of having a button in the built in visual editor that cleans up text specifically that’s being pasted from Word?
Oh well. No need to respond. I’ll drop it and unsub from the thread. I can see when I’m about to get flamed by the experts.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. I’ll keep your advice in mind!

In reply to: Pasting from MS Word suddenly WORKS?Yes indeed there is such a button. And that’s the button I always use. And I EXPECT that it will strip MS Word formatting. Only this time, one time, it didn’t. The formatting came over but not as the crap Microsoft FakeTML/HTML, but with nice clean <p> tags.
I know people are confused about MS Word pasting, so I know the temptation is to give the stock answer. But that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m trying to understand whether there was some new feature that I tripped over somehow.
But thanks for pointing out that button! 🙂 It’s a good button, for sure.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check it out.
Thanks, Brad. There are enough of us having the problem that we’ll be able to give you a quick response on whether that fixes it.
Now, does anyone have suggestions about a tool that would assist me in sweeping everything that’s being presently uploaded to my server into my S3 bucket by changing all the paths for me? (I can move the files easily enough, but adjusting each one of those paths by hand makes me shudder.)
For us, at least, the 2.4.5-beta version fixed the problem.
Yep. I’m going to do that right now.
I have also had the 404 errors crop up suddenly. 2.4.3 worked fine, I upgraded to 2.4.4 and where GDE used to display a file, now there was nothing. Blank screen, nothing.
So I dumped the source code for the page and where GDE was called I saw an error about “404 document not found, use force=’1′ to skip this check.” So I went back to the page and added that parameter. Now GDE displays…but just with a big 404 error and it looks like it’s trying to reload the website in that window
Here is a link to a page where the force parameter is used:

http://riovistachurch.com/parentlink-newsletter-may-2012/In both cases, I have determined that the PDF being displayed exists at the URL specified. I can copy and paste it into a browser tab and it displays fine.
I hope this is helpful. By the way, I have NEVER been able to used the Enhanced Viewer option without getting the 404 errors.
