Yes, I have tried a number of different minifying plugins, and prefer not to use them because they often wind up breaking the code and the site. It took me about an hour to minify the files by hand, which ensured that nothing got deleted that shouldn’t be. The best solution, for everyone who uses ECS, would be to simply minify the files at the source.
