Oh yea,
As a new-commer to WP. I really need to learn a bit more. I wanted to know how do i install and get active with this pluginns and where do i get download dat from.. all this. And after that, I want to see this CAT ID only in my dashboard. But the URL should be like http://www.bergain.co.uk/whsmith-dvd-rental/
Instaed of http://www.bergain.co.uk/cat ID=5
Hope this make more clear.

I will not be able to give you 100% information its becuase i am at workplace now.
Some info regarding the BLOG:
How are you trying to add the link?
-I add post from WRITE THEN POST
Are you doing it through the popup box in the Editor, or are you putting it in the HTML?
– I tried in both ways – used VISUAL did not work and tried HTML didn’t work as well.
Also what version of WordPress are you running?

-Not Very sure BUT I BELIEVE its 2.5

Can you create a post without putting a link in it?

– YES, As you can see i have done other posts. I can put the link but not like this

You have a up and running blog, everything goes fine, you can make and edit posts without problems, but when you try to make a link in one, things go wrong?
-Yes Thats right, It goes wrong with i try to put link in as shown above.

Do you type html yourself or do you use the visual editor?
-Tried both, didn’t work.
Do you get an error message or does the admin just hang?

Anti spam plugins perhaps or plugins that do something with links (always in a new window or whatever)?
– Plugins, No clue wats that… not very educated in WP trying to learn.

For your information, I have tried to make the tags and later convert them into category. That doesn’t work as well
I don’t know wat to say
