I’ve already taken a look at that list.
They are all very good but most of them are standalone galleries and require integration into WordPress.

I thought the same thing too but it works perfectly on my localhost which runs WP 2.1
I had the same problem, try reuploading the files located in
\wp-includes\js\tinymce
It worked for me once I did that.
