Hello,
You are correct that even if I disable my caching plugin, the behavior still occurs.
I have also submitted a ticket per your recommendation.
Regards,
MattHello,
To clarify and update what I’m experiencing:
My youtube playlist is embedded into my WordPress page. When I add a new video to my youtube playlist:
* the mobile version of my WordPress website updates almost instantly (showing the new video at the top of the list)
* the regular desktop version of the Webpress website never updates
(I have to force it by publishing a new version on my page in wordpress)
(…and I don’t want to have to go in and delete the API cache each time)I experience this same behavior with 3 different youtube plugins…so it seems like an issue with the WordPress engine itself.
Also, note that I’m using the “Caching Enabler” plugin:
http://www.sharefollowserve.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=cache-enabler&TB_iframe=true&width=600&height=550…and have these two options currently set:
* “Cache Expiry” is set to 1 hour
* “Cache Exclusions” is set to a few specific page id’s (including my page with the youtube playlist embedded)…but still, the problems persists, namely:
— the desktop interface does not auto-update whereas the mobile interface updates almost immediately.Hoping someone can help me here.
Regards,
Matt
