That won’t work.
We offer migration from other WP carts because they are installed on WP system while OpenCart is on another system.

Yes, OpenCart 2.0 extensions (except themes) work fine on MiwoShop 3. However, we’ve found a problem with extension installation and will release a new version that fixes it by tomorrow.

You should go to the exact category you’ve assigned the product in order to see it, not it’s parent category.
