The fix
Apple left a little html file in my Sites folder advertising the fact that OSX Lion has an inbuilt Appache server.
I deleted the file, rebooted my Mac and problem solved.

Thanks for the tip. I checked in System Preferences and Web Sharing is turned off so that hasn’t resolved the issue.
