In reply to: Help with install of YouTube Embed??Ha, so far so good. Done Deal on fixing this. (I hope; )
Yup, coulda’ saved me $60 but i didn’t know venture into this blog ’til after i had my designer reconnect TubePress with its new 3-video limit…and tell me i’d have to buy the Pro version to allow user to view “all” vids in my chosen playlist…(so he really didn’t fix it)I just went to the Video Page “edit” section, deleted the ” (tube press) ” link that was in there, and pasted in the URL link to the YouTube playlist I wanted there.
Lo and behold the embedded video frame appeared.. What’s more, user can use YouTubes “Playlist” and “Play All” option within YouTube screen to scroll all cuts.
The substitution for tube press with embedded YouTube didn’t disrupt his link from the landing page to this Page … (would’ve needed some help if that’d happened)
For now, thanks much …and i may be back ; )

In reply to: Help with install of YouTube Embed??true… this may be an obvious question for some but – suppose i go in and try and change this existing page – replace it with the built-in WP YouTube method you suggest.. Is there a way that – if i screw it up beyond recognition – I can absolutely, definitely “revert” to the original Page as it existed before i started trying to convert it?
Also..I know that there is a link to the Page on my “Front”/Landing page that i have to be sure remains
intact. Would changing from tubepress to the built-in
method on that page, require any changes to links that
take one to the Video Page? (if that makes sense…; )Thanks!

In reply to: Help with install of YouTube Embed??Well that’s quite interesting.
Now in my case “VIDEO” is a Page unto itself. Not a Post. As i say, i don’t want to mess up the design/layout of it’s existing appearance by trying to tinker with how he’s using tubepress in that location… if that makes sense. I’ll be honest I’m not at all WordPress savvy (well that is probaby obvious) so I’d really need someone to just go through the internals of it to avoid, say, screwing up any links to the page from within the site, that sort of thing. Thanks for this info in any event… I’m not sure why tubepress was used if WP allows a customizable YouTube video “gallery” page already. ((so i guess i’d also wonder why this YouTube Embed plug-in exists)).
