The Update closed my site with this message:
“Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.”
Removed WordFence from my FTP plugin folder and I’m up and running again. But now no WordFence installed.

I have also started to get tons of “pending” posts in my post area in Dashboard. They stretch back for many pages throughout my 100’s of posts. I also have Akismet running. Clearing them out one by one will take forever and not knowing why they are there is disturbing. Looking forward to an answer here.
