@devnihil thanks, seems weird to me but there you go. I’ve discovered Google wasn’t indexing my Journal page, so this may have been the cause of the issues I’ve been having.
Hi, yes that’s right, the main Blog page is showing on the posts sitemap.
It should be listed as a Page surely? It’s not a blog post, it’s a page.
I figured it must be because we changed the URL to Journal, but from what you’re saying, it’s normal for the main Blog Page to be listed as a Post.
That seems strange to me, it’s a Page not a Post but thanks for the feedback.I’ll sign up for the newsletter. Hopefully the developers will fix this. Blog is such an ‘old’ term these days, especially on a business site, and almost all sites have them.
I didn’t create it as a Post, it’s the Blog main page. My site has a fixed front page, and the Journal is the blog. Not sure what you mean about post type codes, because there were none.

Yes it’s in All Pages, but in the xml sitemap it’s listed as a Post.Thanks, that is helpful. My host provides caching so it sounds like I just need to wait for this to clear.
