I use my auto publisher to set post_status from “future” to “published” but I use a plugin that performs actions when posts are edited or posted through the wordpress system.

and this question goes along with the question above too,

What is being called to run the scripts on the post, and can those actions be called externally somehow–from my external script?

Please help
