A workaround alternative to editing the footer.php (for non-coders), may be to try adding a div to the top of your text FIRST footer widget.
Example:
<div id="top-of-footer"></div>Obviously, not a best practice, and if your first footer widget doesn’t contain a text widget, you’re out of luck.
Works for us until we finalize the footer code. Hope that helps.

What exactly did you mean by your statement (above)? You needed to use inline CSS in your post?
Please be clear with your response. Thanks in advance.
Still would’ve been nice to have some advance notice from the Yoast team …
btw @diywebmastery – excellent blog post. Thanks for that work.

Removed Hupso. Will test with slick-social-share-buttons as time permits.

In reply to: [Toggle The Title] Pages disappear from nav barAppreciate the plugin.
Seems to be a one-way toggle when it comes to the menu. Had to deactivate plugin to get menu back after toggling page title back on!
Also, Title off/on works fine on page, but leaves a blank menu item where old menu item for page used to be. IOW – appears just like if you had changed the page title to a single space!

I think johnny5 (aka John Godley) has a new baby girl and may be a little busy, but don’t know for sure. Found pics on johngodley.com blog.
If that’s you man, thank you for the plugin. I know if I ever had to choose between spending time with my beautiful baby daughter and us pranksters … well … I’d sit her on my lap while I worked, but that’s just me. 😉
Congratulations and take care.
Best,
