I’m having the same problem. I activated the plugin, hit “Rebuild Sitemap,” it says it “Successfully built sitemap file:”, but when I click on that address, there is nothing there, but my 404 error message. If having incorrect permissions is the problem, how is that resolved?
Any other possible solutions?

Okay, I just needed to change the Blog URI to http://www.meshsf.com/blog3 and now it works. Thanks for your help!
