The blog entries are stored in a database, not in files, so you should search your database for your entries. I don’t know if your entries are still there, because an update could also truncate the database and then create new tables (which are empty of course)…
Seems I can’t edit my post anymore, but I wanted to add that on this page the slideshow doesn’t work as well, so it’s definitely my browser. But I have no idea what could be wrong… Like I said, every other flash application (on other sites) works…

# Do you have the Adblock extension [ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10 ] installed? In Firefox 3 Adblock incorrectly blocks Flash content, even if your entire page is whitelisted. In this case just disable Flash block.
