In reply to: logo blurry as hell on mobileThanks. I appreciate your help.
The image quality being low on mobiles is a matter for logo size, format, site responsiveness ? What’s the issue ? I would have thought this is a farily standard practice…to import a logo file to use in a responsive site, so it really bugs me out to have this usse. Am I doing something which is not best practice ? Is it via coding the only way to resolve it ?
I’m not too savvy with CSS coding. Where exactly in which file exaclt should I start playing with the code block you gave me ? Should I do this in a php directly or via wordpress in custom CSS for example ? Could please point me to more precise instructions on how to do this ?
Many thanks

I’m just starting to build it so it looks shit for now
however, you’ll see that blog posts don’t take you to the post pages
appreciate your help
cheers
mSorry to inundate you, but you are very helpful and prompt and I really could use your healp…it’s greately appreciated
I noticed that I can’t point to my blog posts anymore either. This is what I did in detail….you may be able to help me out here.
For URL cleanness, I copied the index page one level up, from within /wp folder (wp installation), to the root folder, but preserving the wp environment and content within the wp folderFollowing the indications in the wordpress page: https://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory, I edited the index file,
changed ‘/wp-blog-header.php’ );
for ‘/wp/wp-blog-header.php’ );In dashboard, general settings, I pointed the Site URL to the root folder and kept the WordPress URL to ‘wp’ folder (as it was)
After saving changes, went to PERMALINKS, as suggested by the above link.
The problem is the link above says “go to the Permalinks panel and update your Permalink structure. WordPress will automatically update your .htaccess file if it has the appropriate file permissions.”It doesn’t say what exactly to do so I’ve tried a couple of things and none works; Kept the structure as it was, didn’t work, then changed the structure from ‘Post name’ to ‘custom structure’ adding the /wp so trying to point my posts to the /wp folder (as before)…didn’t work either. Posts appear in my blog page, but point to nothing (links broken?). When saving permalinks, got the ‘saved’ message, so I thing it’s not do to with .htaccess file, though I see no change when inspecting it after each save
What is the structure my PERMALINKS should have to access the old posts in the database ?
Again, I know this is way beyond the plugin query, but I’m kind of getting stuck and received no support elsewhere. Many thanks again
Regards,
marieHi Seed. I haven’t moved any folder. Just copied the index file one level up…everything else sits where it was, within the ‘/wp’ folder. In my dashboard general settings, I’ve pointed my site URL to the root folder (where now the index file sits) and the WP URL to the ‘/wp’ folder, where originally was. Yes, I have read that link and done what it says there. thanks for your help
Hi mate
I just did a bit of a change to m yskte folder structure and copied the index page from the /wp folder to the root folder (one level up), so within WP settings, I got the site URL pointing to the rrot, and WP content pointing to the /wp folder
Now, when activating the plugin in the coming soon mode, it always displays the coming soon page, even though I’m logged in, so I can’t visualize the site anymore. How do I correct this please ?
thanks/regards
mhow do you see it on your end ? bellashoot.com.au
yes, I did make sure that full size was inserted…still blurry in the web page but not in image viewers
thanks for reply
the logo not showing that sharp is a plugin artifact or something else ? It’s a high res .PNG file exported from photoshop…the file looks crisp sharp in any image viewer…please advise…many thanks againForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: PHP memory_limitforgot to say
when extracting the php info form the page using: <? phpinfo(); ?>
I do see there the new value reported…it’s only when I see it through the dashboard that the old lower value shows upAlso, can you please point me to indications on how to insert social network icons/links (twitter, facebook, instagram, pinterest)
many thanks
mthere seems to be little support on this plugin, as I see very few replies going back a year even.
🙁me too…how yuu guys figured it out yet ? where do we paste the code ??
Thanks for reply !
Yep, I only had to redirect the domain to the ‘wp’ folder where the site resides. Now it’s fine.
I’m playing around with the plugin. It’s not evident to me how to create a slideshow of images for the background as in your example. can you please point to me those indications ?
Also, is it possible to define the slideshow size/position in page ? (I want a white banner at top with logo, and then the slideshow beaneath.
Also, I exported from photoshop a PNG file with logo in high res, but I see it a bit blurry in mobile device after updating the plugin. can you please advise ? (on desktop seems fine)
thanks/regards
