You said you tested on local computer, Actually it will not work on local computer. PayPal IPN response is not reachable on your computer.

I have checked everything from my end, it’s working fine for me.
Can you please provide your website url and donation button url, so we can move forward with it.
May there is some conflict with other plugins, if you want checked conflict then just deactivate all the plugin and test this plugin or check php error log for more details.
