We are reworking the Getting Started video and our Media Library Plus page on our site that is linked to from the description. We’re also working at putting the Getting Started video in the installation section.
Since we were heads down on our UI update we had not gotten to it. But we’ll get it cleaned up in the next couple days.
Ok. put in a support ticket and we’ll get you and up running.

In reply to: [Media Library Folders] Don't BotherWell, rush. Maybe a 1 star isn’t the right thing here. You have a specific use case that doesn’t apply to everyone.
If you didn’t like how your files are organized in the month / date folders then MLP is terrific. And if that wasn’t an issue you don’t need our product.
BTW, did you try using our sync function? Might have helped you get up and running fast and with our new drag and drop interface you can organize your folders/files with ease.
A 1 star is very hurtful to an early plugin especially one that a lot of other folks really like. Please think about raising your rating.

This isn’t fishy for me except this review. It’s just that this person has also left a review just like this on another gallery plugin. And if that’s what we want in our ecosystem, then it’s fine.
But in a lot of bulletin board systems stuff like this gets wiped out.

Thanks for taking a look. We will think about it since this is the first instance in 40k downloads (I know, I know. Downloads don’t matter.) But I think you might want to look at the history of this fine WordPress citizen on the forums since they seem to be leaving reviews like this on a lot of the gallery plugins.
And maybe a little etiquette training on what is a 1 star might be in order too since they are so incredibly hard to overcome and usually unjustly given.
