Changed the whole blog to the 2015 theme. Checked the links worked, when they did, switched back to my other theme and checked my links. Everything fine.
Yes. Doesn’t make a difference. Also the image links at the bottom of the page are created by my theme and updated as I publish a new post.
I’ve removed the plugin after it broke things with the latest version of wordpress. This request is now irrelevant.
