In reply to: [WooSidebars] adding headings for woo sidebarHi there,
Thanks for your question.
I’m a bit unclear as to what “headings” refers to. Are you referring to custom widget areas, or perhaps widgets in a custom sidebar?
If widgets are disappearing, I’d advise making sure your custom widget area has a text-based slug (eg:
my-custom-widget-area) instead of a number (sometimes, a widget area’s slug is a number). This should help prevent widgets for not showing correctly. Please advise if this produces the desired result.
Thanks in advance!

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Woosidebars PolylangHi there,
Thanks for your query.
While WooSidebars doesn’t officially integrate with Polylang, this sounds like a valuable discussion worth having.
I’ve logged a related issue on our GitHub repository, for further discussion, here: https://github.com/woothemes/woosidebars/issues/49
Thanks for suggesting this!

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Empty Post categories don't show and can't be selectedHi Jean-Francois,
Thanks for your query.
This was an intentional decision, to ensure that only categories with content to display, are eligible for sidebar replacements.
Please do log this as an enhancement over at http://github.com/woothemes/woosidebars/, where we can discuss and test further.
Thanks in advance!

By the time

In reply to: [WooSidebars] custom sidebar for custom taxonomy archivesHi there,
It sounds as though either the “Homeland” theme is overriding how sidebars are displayed, manipulating how taxonomy archives are generated, or there is a potential conflict between the “Homeland” theme and WooSidebars.
Would you mind please providing a URL to your website, and to the “Homeland” theme’s product landing page, such that I can inspect further?
Thanks in advance!

In reply to: [WooSidebars] sidebars dont appear on widgets screenHi there,
I’m really sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this.
There are a few checks you can do:
1. Make sure you’re running the latest version of WooSidebars.
2. Make sure your theme supports custom (dynamic) sidebars.
3. Make sure your custom widget areas are assigned to replace an existing widget area.
4. Make sure each of your custom widget areas has a text-based slug (visible in the “Quick Edit” for each custom widget area).I hope this clarifies your query. If not, please let me know.
Thanks in advance!

In reply to: [WooSidebars] Include a widget area in the headerHi Merylu,
Thanks for your question.
While WooSidebars can replace existing widget areas, it cannot currently create widget areas.
I’d advise reaching out to the theme author to ask if they can assist with adding a header widget area to the Customizer theme.
Thanks for checking in with us. 🙂

In reply to: [WooSidebars] It works with WordPress 4.4.2?Hi there,
Yes, WooSidebars has been tested up to WordPress 4.5, to date.
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your query.
It looks like the sidebar being replaced has switched over to replacing a footer widget, most likely caused by switching from one theme to another.
Please do ensure that the “sidebar to replace” is set to the desired widget area (most likely called “Sidebar”) instead of a footer widget area.
I hope this clarifies your query. If not, please let me know. 🙂

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Minimum download Speeds for WooCommerceHi there,
A base recommendation for specific stats can be found via the suggestions in the “System Status” screen within WooCommerce. This will indicate if any specifications aren’t at the optimum level.
While WooCommerce can run on even an entry-level-spec server, it’d be worth investing in a VPS or dedicated hosting in the long run, once your store gains traction and begins generating revenue.
I would advise comparing the packages listed here to your EUKHost account and seeing if the specifications match up. If so, then EUKHost should be a suitable option.
If you have further questions around this, please do let me know. 🙂
