In reply to: Posts Page not working – Loading foreverYes I’m sure it is. Am looking for help figuring it out on my own though. There is something going on with the page.php and index.php, or perhaps it’s missing a file that should be in there to complete the loop. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can try, I would be very grateful.
Thanks!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Posts Page not working – Loading foreverHey Tara,
Thanks for the detailed help. I disabled all plugins, still no luck. Switched to the twentyfifteen theme (default) and the posts page works. For some reason it doesn’t with the custom theme I am using.. It just tries to load until it times out: 500 read timeout
Not sure why the theme isn’t loading a posts page… Any further help would be greatly appreciated!Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Sub site 404 cannot find database??UPDATE:
in settings for the site in question, I am still seeing the theme I used as ‘current theme’, plus all the extensions I had enabled for the theme (pagelines)
It looks like it knows what the site used to be, its just not displaying it anymore and reverting to the root URL. when I click visit site, it goes to the 404, then when I click back to the dashboard from the 404, the wp-admin url is for the root, not the subdirectory in question.
this is all very confusing.
PLEASE HELP!Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Problems after upgrade to 2.6.5 from 2.6.3This post worked for me.
I got to step four, and after a refresh and cache clearing, I am back up.. kitchen sink and all.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Problems after upgrade to 2.6.5 from 2.6.3I am having the same issue.
After upgrading to 2.6.5 this morning (5 minutes ago), the visual editor in the post section is not happening.
It actually shows that the visual tab is selected, but the buttons are for the HTML viewer, and neither of the buttons work to toggle between them.
Please help, as this is going to be very frustrating to those who reply on the Visual Editor. Thanks in advance.
