Yea, its strange that Kpicasa doesn’t give that error. However, I checked the error log and it gave nothing. But I have a theory that reinstalling PHP will help, because as I understand it simplexml should be enabled as default. But it isn’t for me, so maybe something went wrong during the php compilation and simplexml isn’t the only thing missing. So I will try to make a complete reinstall of php. I just have to find the time for it, but when I do, I will let you know what happened.
