Update. I have deactivated Kirki and the issue has gone. Kirki came bundled with a plugin – Directorist. I’ve queried with them about this issue too as I’m not entirely sure who to go to for support in this instance. Thank you.

MattHi. Thanks for your reply. I went through a few plugins first – turning off directorist caused a critical site error, which disappeared when I activated it again. I tried the theme change but that didn’t work. Currently login is working now though with auto optimize deactivated, though I can’t say if that was the issue or directorist. Anyway all good now, thank you for your help.
Hi, thanks for your reply. The form doesn’t display at all with the Load Form Using AJAX enabled. The form is inserted into the page using a shortcode if that makes any difference there.
Hi Amin, many thanks for the suggestion – I just tried removing the captcha from the form for a while but I am still getting the same:
“An error occurred while processing the form. Please try again
(undefined)“I also double checked my recaptcha credentials, and all are correctly configured. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Re solving this particular issue: At some point a developer has created a Forgotten Password password page which I have only just found. I decided to just hide the WordPress forgotten password link using CSS, and have added my own link to the custom forgotten password page. I’ve tested the process and it is working.

Ah, sorry, my apologies @aahulsebos ! It’s not a link I’d authored myself so I had assumed it had come from content published by the plugin to the cookies policy page it generates. I’ll investigate further.

This works fine and shows the events as configured – bar also showing past events which should be hidden. However, when I add an event, and go to view it, it shows at a completely different address, the original /events/ url which has been generated somehow.
So, I have the event I’ve added duplicated at: https://aylesbury.info/events/winter-wonderland-and-father-christmas/ as a single event. I turned off single event pages though I had thought, and am just using the sliding card to display details at https://aylesbury.info/local-events/The newly created page also shows other unwanted, un-styled, generated pages such as organiser page at https://aylesbury.info/event-location/hartwell-nurseries/ as well as the /events/ page I was trying to change initially.
Any advice would be much appreciated, many thanks.

I think to use the data that I would want to select for my hometown areas, then I would need the pro version. The site this is for is a project that may become a charity, maybe it will pay for itself, but not yet. The only way I could afford the plugin would be to apply for a grant; if I were to do so, it would be a one-off. This rules out subscribing to plugins for me. If a lifetime version was available, however, then I would quote for it in a grant application.
