lol – same here! Great plugin apart from this glaring omission. I’ve also contacted the author – but no response 🙁
Got a client who keeps asking me why we can’t do this simple thing. Making me look pretty stupid 🙁

Very strange indeed as last time I did this on my test server it didn’t work.

One other thing. For another site I use this calendar plugin…

simply because it permits me to assign a specific user role for those who can add/edit events, i.e. I can let site Authors edit the calendar, without having to make them Editors or Admins.
It would be lovely if your calendar had this functionality for multi-user sites 🙂

In reply to: post title won't display when shared on facebookAs an update – it started working once I had set the site to be visible in search engines from the settings menu. I am also using the ‘Facebook Like Thumbnail’ plugin. Not sure if that’s helping or not, but it all works well now. M.
I’ve looked around quite a lot as well, and believe this to be the best of the bunch calendar plugin – for me at least 🙂
To add my feedback: As per my separate post, I really wish I could set a default date for the month and week views, to override the calendar showing the current month/week by default. Why? My application is for a festival which runs over a single month in the summer. All events are during this month so users viewing the calendar month before then see nothing by default. I imagine this would be a common application.
And yes it would be great if one could assign a feature image to each event, and also ordinary categories, so events could be listed in theme portfolio pages, sliders, etc.
An option to create ‘venues’ with addresses, maps etc, and to be able to assign venu to event, rather than having to add details multiple times.

In reply to: post title won't display when shared on facebookI am having the same problem. Frustratingly I run several WP sites, and all except one works fine when sharing. I have tried disabling plugins on the site that won’t share properly, but that doesn’t help.
So.. on my other sites, when I share to FB I get a nice thumbnail, post title and description, but on one particular site I just get the home URL and nothing else!
I have compared header meta tags and they are the same between sites that do and don’t work!
Any suggestions most gratefully received.
This is the main problem I have with this plugin. An absolutely fantastic product, except that having to remove and add all one’s fields again to add a new field at the top of the form is a real pain, especially for larger forms. I reckon this must be the numbr 1 priority for improving this plugin.
