  • My experience is that this is on sites with GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress Hosting. Below is a link to to the list of Plugins they have shitcanned, but the page does not provide specifics:

    Also, here is the message sent on the day it went dead:

    Our engineering team has been alerted to a problem with UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin creating excessive files and using too many server resources on your account. While we investigate a resolution, we are temporarily suspending the use of this plugin.

    In addition, we will be removing any UpdraftPlus backups that are older than seven days. The Managed WordPress Hosting Team maintains offsite daily backups for your site and those are always available within your account.

    What makes me mad is that they gave no advance notice of the action to block the and as such I was unable to get a download of the site backup that had been locked to prevent deletion.
