Thanks for your help – I must admit, I’m sorry I took on this job. It is much more difficult than I thought.
I’ve created great looking websites with Fusion but never one that includes a blog – so, I’m totally lost.
To create one’s own ‘theme’ in WordPress, do you need any html knowledge? I freeze up everytime I just hear “html”
Next thing to do, is to “just-say-no” to the job – which is not easy to do in the current economic climate 🙁
    Thanks for your time 🙂

Yes, it does make sense – thanks. So, can a visitor to a website still make comments on a permalink even if it has drop off the page? And when does a posting go into the archive page?
Here’s my real problem….. Will a permalink solve my problem?
A friend of my has an exciting website and he has a blog page. He has asked me to rebuild his website. Easy enough!
I’ve re-built his website on Netobjects Fusion and it looks great. But now I need to import or embed his blog on his new website. I don’t know too much about blogging – no, I mean, I know nothing about blogging.
    How do I do that?
I’ve tried exporting the blog in WordPress and it export it in .xml format – but NOW would you believe: Netobjects Fusion can’t import .xml files.
    Thanks for your time…..

Thank you – I was hoping that it might be what I’m looking for – but it is not 🙁

I originally thought it would be easier to just copy and paste – as a matter of fact, I’ve done most of the copying and pasting – BUT what about the little comment tag that visitors can click on and write comments on (doesn’t that post directly back to the website)
I have no idea how blogging is working. My friend is doing blogging on his current website and has asked me to take over his website and improve it….
    I don’t know if I can do it… 🙁
    Thanks for your hlep.

This is getting more complicated 🙁
    I don’t host this particular website…..
A friend asked me to take over his website, it’s hosted with Godaddy.
I’ve built a new website in Netobjects Fusion – but now he wants to have his blog (created in WordPress) to be updated in the new website.
Do you think this can be done?
    Thanks for your help,
    Maryna 🙂

    Geezh, thanks 🙂
On my export page I only see the following:
When you click the button below WordPress will create an
blah blah…. to import this blog.
    Options
Restrict Author As well as a “Download export file” button.

I don’t know where to get the phpmyadmin options….
    Please advise.

    Thanks for you help.

    Thanks, Shane.
I read about the export feature in xml … is there a way I can export in a different format. Would you believe it… Netobjects cannot import xml files 🙁
    What now?
    Maryna 🙂

I’m trying to do the same thing as Reactiv. I guess MY next question will be: How do I send the bloc via RSS feeds and how do I incorporate a parser?
I’m new to WordPress and totally clueless 🙁
    Maryna 🙂
